Blue...White...&...Gold

Today I finished a blue, white, & gold table...
A 1929 radio cabinet now turned table.
Hope you like the photos....

When I first found this cabinet (where the photo below was taken) , we were in the scariest used furniture store I have ever been to. The rooms were dark, no a/c had to be like 110 degrees, and half underground...I was the only shopper in the store and I had to think twice about even attempting to pick through this store...but....I did find a few fabulous things...

I'm in love...

I have been looking for at some of the capital pieces and wanting one from Restoration Hardware for some time but when I got home today, my partner had one not  from Restoration but an actual salvage piece...sitting right here for me...I couldn't be happier!! I'm thinking about adding some dark stain and maybe alittle paint but haven't quite decided yet.

I found this fabulous french styled armoire with lots of potential...

Ok so I needed to adjust some lighting I think b/c a few people have let me know that it was kinda dark so heres an attempt to brighten the place up (it looks alittle blue in the pics but it is grey). Sorry my home is always set for mood...

Ok...I'm not sure where the before photo is but this is the after...when I found it, she was taken all the way down and just stained I applied the appliques and got to work finishing her in a french grey and antique white with a dark stain finish. I have to put the knobs on and but this is ALMOST the finished project. I am thinking about some fabulous crystal knobs on the cabinet and the originals painted and stained below.
